Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 5, 2026
Puya Ventures LLC (d/b/a FlavorSavor) ("FlavorSavor," "we," "us," or "our") provides a voice-based recipe capture and sharing service (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and store it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect and store the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you create an account, we store your email address and authentication metadata needed to sign you in.
- Recipes and recipe content. We store the recipes you create, including titles, descriptions, ingredients, steps, attribution, tags, and any photos you attach, so they can be saved to your vault and, if you choose, shared publicly.
- Voice transcripts. When you speak a recipe aloud, our speech-to-text provider converts your speech into text, and we store the resulting transcript as part of your recipe's source material so we can reprocess or correct a recipe later.
- We do not store raw audio. Once your spoken audio has been transcribed, the raw audio recording is discarded and is not retained by FlavorSavor. Only the resulting text transcript is stored.
- Usage and device data. We may collect basic technical data (such as browser type, device information, and interaction logs) to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the Service, including generating, storing, and displaying your recipes.
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To improve the accuracy of our voice-to-recipe processing.
- To communicate with you about your account or the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. AI-generated content and accuracy disclaimer
Recipes on FlavorSavor are generated with the help of artificial intelligence based on your spoken or written input. AI-generated recipe content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in quantities, cook times, temperatures, or ingredient substitutions. FlavorSavor does not verify recipe accuracy and makes no representation that any recipe is safe, complete, or correct.
Allergen disclaimer: FlavorSavor does not screen recipes for allergens or verify ingredient lists for completeness. If you or someone you are cooking for has a food allergy or dietary restriction, you are solely responsible for independently verifying every ingredient before preparing or consuming a recipe. For food-safety-critical steps (such as canning, curing, or safe internal cooking temperatures), consult a trusted, tested source rather than relying solely on AI-generated guidance.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers (such as hosting, database, authentication, and speech-to-text providers) solely to operate the Service, and as required by law.
If you choose to make a recipe public, its content (title, description, ingredients, steps, attribution, and any photo) is visible to anyone with the link and may be indexed by search engines.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain your account information and recipes for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data — including stored recipes and voice transcripts — at any time by emailing purahmanian@gmail.com with the subject line "Data deletion request." We will verify your identity and delete your data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
9. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
